Your account basics (name, email, password stored as a secure hash), your onboarding answers (state, due date, household and employment situation, insurance type, childcare plans), the names, emails, and optional phone numbers of people your family invites, your task activity (done, snoozed, notes you choose to leave), and purchase records. That's it, and it exists for one purpose: building and running your family's plan.
No health records, no clinical information, no tracking of pregnancy or infant health data, no advertising trackers, and no sale or sharing of your data for marketing. Ever. Our content links you to official sources; what you do there is between you and them.
Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments; we never see full card numbers), and Resend (email delivery). Each receives only what its job requires.
We send transactional email: reminders about your own tasks, receipts, and invitations you initiate. If we ever start a marketing newsletter, it will be separate, opt-in, and have an unsubscribe link.
Completed plans stay available to you as your family's record. Want your account and data deleted? Email support@mothersplan.com from your account email and we'll delete it (purchase records we must keep for tax and accounting law are the exception).
One session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Mothers Plan is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children; your baby's name and birth date are stored only because you chose to put them in your plan.
